Hard work!

Hi Erica!

This weekend, I had to help the Ginters with some work on the yard. Uncle Leroy needed help pulling the snow blower to the back shed, so Brooklyn, Ashley and me were his BIG HELPERS! Look at how hard I worked! After all that, I really needed a nap!
Hey, guess what else? Uncle Leroy took me on a walk and I saw the most hugest, biggest painting you could ever imagine. Erica, when you were in Altona, did you see it too? It's a picture of some flower and it's on this massive easel. Wowzers!
I'm still having fun in Altona. I was so happy when I saw your comment on my last blog about it being only 10 1/2 more weeks until I see you! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I love you Erica!

Hey Erica, I've been doing some dancing with Uncle Leroy lately, so I thought I'd let you see how I'm doing. Check this out!

White stuff and other stuff!

Boy oh boy, do I have a lot of stuff to write about today! I went to Grammy & Grampa's house this weekend, and even got to stay for night! Woo hoo! What a fun place to be! We had a party at their house with a cake made with ice-cream and everything! Look at the picture of me with the cake. Can you see the flowers? That side is for Grammy for Mother's Day. And the other side with the balloons is for Grampy's birthday -- did you remember that today is his birthday? I didn't get to taste the cake, but I bet it tasted really good!

We also had something called chips -- Aunty Doralin said that your Mom loves these, Erica! She took a picture of me with your mom and dad's favorite kinds of chips! Do you like chips? What do they taste like? Do they taste as yummy as my dog food?

Okay, Erica, now I've got to tell you about something BIG that happened on the weekend too. I went outside to do my "business" (hey, I've been a good dog and haven't left any jewels in the house lately!) and there was this really strange white stuff falling from the sky and lying on the ground. I was sniffing it and it felt really cold on my nose. I was trying to eat it, but it just disappeared. It was really wierd, Erica. I wish you had been there to see it. I don't think we've ever had that stuff in Bolivia before. Have you ever seen that kind of white stuff Erica?

Here's me as a princess!

Look at me -- I'm swinging!!! Weeeeee!

And here I am getting a ride with Alexi in a bike trailer. I'm even buckled in so I'm safe.

Hey Erica, look at my new dog tag! Aunty Doralin got it for me so that if I get lost, the nice people in Altona know where to bring me again. I think I'll just stay close to the Ginters though, and not get lost.

I still like to have naps on shoes!

I love you Erica!
Write to me soon and tell me what you are doing!

I can't believe it!!!

Wow Erica! You'll never guess what I got to do yesterday! I was playing outside in the Ginter's front yard yesterday while Uncle Leroy was making some really loud noise with this machine that cuts wood (I didn't mind it though, cuz I'm used to loud partying noises and fireworks in Bolivia). Anyway, I couldn't believe my eyes when this big white truck thingy with orange and blue stripes drives right into the driveway. It was HUGE, Erica! And it had lights all over it, but they weren't switched on. It had orange lights and white lights and red lights.

And guess what happened next, Erica... a BIG man got out of that truck thingy and he was wearing a very nice uniform. He looked kinda like a policeman, so I stood very straight and tall. He seemed very kind so I didn't even bark at him, cuz I could tell right away that he was a good man. He told me that his name was Uncle Abe, and that you know him. Cool! I'm getting to meet all our relatives that I've never met before, and they are all GREAT!

Now if you think all THAT'S exciting, Erica, wait till I tell you what happened next! If ever there were a time where I coulda chased my tail in delight, it was then. Uncle Abe let me drive the big white truck thingy! Can you believe it? I still can hardly believe it! He put me on the seat and let me hold the steering wheel. Okay, so I didn't actually drive it, but it sure felt like it! I pretended I was speeding through traffic in Santa Cruz to pick you up and take you to Altona with me! Boy can that truck thingy drive fast! Woo Hoo! I was screeching around corners and turning on all the lights, and ... did you know that truck thingy has a button for turning on loud sounds? I didn't actually press it, but I think I got a glimpse of it -- I'm not very good at reading, so I couldn't tell for sure.

Wow, Erica! That TOTALLY made my day!!! I dreamed about it all night long! I still shake my head and wonder if it actually happend! But the pictures I'm posting prove that it's true. I can't wait for you to come to Canada so we can see all kinds of cool things TOGETHER! In the meantime, I'll just keep posting stuff on my blog for you to see. I love you Erica!

My Zipline

Hey Erica, guess what? Even though I can't just run around outside where-ever I want to like I could in Bolivia (cuz they don't have walls around the yard), Uncle Leroy made a zip-line for me the other day. Now I can run around lots and lots but I don't have to be scared of getting lost. Phew!

How are you doing Erica? Can you believe it... it's less than 3 months until you come here and we can be together again? I've been here a whole week already!

Hey, guess what else? The Ginters give me these really cool bacon dog treats when I do my business outside in my "bathroom area". I'm trying really hard to save it for there. Those treats are awesome! Maybe they'll give you one if you use my bathroom area when you come to Altona!

I got a gift! I got a gift!

Tonight the nice man who came to see us in Bolivia, and took me on my great jet adventure, dropped off a bag of stuff for me! I couldn't believe my nose!!! My owner, Erica, had sent me her t-shirt, and her sister Alia had sent her shorts! Boy oh boy did I love the familiar smell of my real family! I sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed. Mmmm...mmm...mm! I just couldn't get enough. I sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed some more. Look at me sniff.

After I'd sniffed for a while, Erica's aunty put the clothes on the blanket in my favorite place to sleep, and I lay down and dreamed of Erica and the rest of my real family in Bolivia! Boy do I miss them!
