My newest trick

Hello family. I'm so excited! I just learned a new trick. It took me a little while to figure it out but I think I got it. I'll have to do lots of practicing with you though. So now I can dance, park it, go pee when I'm told and high five. Life is good!!!!!

I miss you. Only a few more days and I can show you all of my tricks. By the way, I got another bath today. I still don't like baths. But at least now I don't stink. But I still need a haircut. Sometimes I have a mohawk. I am looking forward to having it shaved off though.

I'm Back!

The Ginters picked me up from Joanna's house today. Me and Joanna had a lot of fun . I got to help deliver newspapers (and got a ride in the wagon). I also met a new animal friend. He was furry and soft (like me) only I didn't know what kind of animal he was. I think Joanna called him a "rabbit", whatever that is. I had a great time sniffing the floor for crumbs although I got trapped on a chair that was pushed under a desk and Joanna had to come and rescue me (how embarassing).

I had a great time at Joanna's house but I sure was happy to see the Ginters again. And I can hardly wait to see you, Erica. Only 7 more days!

I'm a SOCCER STAR!

Hi again,

I was hearing that in Bolivia, you loved to play soccer. I thought I had better start practicing now. Boy is it fun. I could play it for hours. Or at least a while. Lindsey, I'll have show you the fancy moves I can do. Maybe you can teach me some new ones.

I'm going for HOLIDAYS!!!

Woo hoo! I get to go to Winkler for holidays!!! Ginters are bringing me to Joanna's house for a few days while they go away. I don't know Joanna very well yet, but I think we're going to be bestest friends very soon, right Joanna?

I'm all packed and ready to go! I've got my leash, my food, and my ball! Woo hoo! Only one more sleep until I go!

I already know Uncle Abe, cuz he was the one who let me drive his big white truck thingy once. I still dream about that sometime. I'll have to ask the Dueck's to take pictures of my adventures in Winkler so I can post a blog after I'm back.

And Aunty Doralin just told me that in exactly two weeks from today, Erica and her family are arriving in Canada! Wow! Time sure does fly! I can't wait to see you again! See you soon!

Love & smooches,

Muffy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEEEE!!!

Guess what??? I'm officially ONE YEAR OLD!!! Woo hoo!!! I can't believe it! I feel sooooo growed up now! I sure wish you could have been at my birthday party, Erica, Jory, Alia, and Lindsey! It was AWESOME! We were at Grammy's and I had a birthday cake with a candle, and a new birthday dress and a new toy! Wowzers! Can you believe it? I'm putting some pictures in for you to see.

See my beautiful Birthday Cake with the #1 candle? I needed help blowing it out though.

Boy, was that ever a delicious cake! It was Fillet Mignon flavored! Oooooh!

Look at my beautiful Birthday Dress that I got from Grammy! Do you think I'm worth it too?

The Ginters tell me that Erica sent a present for me, but they say I have to wait to open it until we can Skype so you can see me open it! Let's do that REALLY REALLY REALLY SOON, k? I'll be home tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon if it works for you then. Let me know!

Love you Kehler's! Miss you! Did you remember that I've been here for two months already, and only one more month until you come here and I come to live with you again! Woo hoo! I'm having a great time at the Ginters -- hours of fun chasing a ball around the house! It'll be so cool though when I can play with you again too!

Bye for now! Chat soon!

Painting & Bath time

Hi Erica! It's been a while since I blogged. I tell you, I've been pretty busy around here. I keep pretty busy eating... and sleeping... and lying in the sun... and chasing a ball... and eating... and sleeping... and playing with the Ginter cousins... and drinking... and going for walks... and eating... and sleeping... and play-fighting with Uncle Leroy... and eating... and sleeping. It's finally warming up in Altona. Still not as warm as Bolivia, but I'm used to it by now.

Hey, guess what? We got to go to Grammy & Grampy's house for night again this past weekend! Woo Hoo! I know now why you like going there so much! We were actually at Kehlen's house most of the time -- during the day at least. The adults were all painting Uncle Harold & Aunty Wendi's house, and you'll never believe this... Grammy let me help too!!! Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself! Wowzers! That was so cool!

Kehlen and I got along much better this time. I'm getting more used to him by now. He's only a little kritter yet, but boy does he like me! I'm still a little nervous around him, but not too bad.

Hey, Uncle Leroy and the girls gave me a bath yesterday! Aaaaaahhhhh! I feel so fresh again! The nice warm water and the doggy shampoo that you sent felt sooooooo good!
Later, Uncle Leroy wrapped me up and put me in front of the fireplace to warm up and dry off. He's a pretty cool Uncle, you know!

Aunty Doralin says your parents bought tickets for you to fly to Canada! I can't wait!!! I sure hope the time flies by so I can see you again!!! I love you bunches, Erica!

Hard work!

Hi Erica!

This weekend, I had to help the Ginters with some work on the yard. Uncle Leroy needed help pulling the snow blower to the back shed, so Brooklyn, Ashley and me were his BIG HELPERS! Look at how hard I worked! After all that, I really needed a nap!
Hey, guess what else? Uncle Leroy took me on a walk and I saw the most hugest, biggest painting you could ever imagine. Erica, when you were in Altona, did you see it too? It's a picture of some flower and it's on this massive easel. Wowzers!
I'm still having fun in Altona. I was so happy when I saw your comment on my last blog about it being only 10 1/2 more weeks until I see you! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I love you Erica!

White stuff and other stuff!

Boy oh boy, do I have a lot of stuff to write about today! I went to Grammy & Grampa's house this weekend, and even got to stay for night! Woo hoo! What a fun place to be! We had a party at their house with a cake made with ice-cream and everything! Look at the picture of me with the cake. Can you see the flowers? That side is for Grammy for Mother's Day. And the other side with the balloons is for Grampy's birthday -- did you remember that today is his birthday? I didn't get to taste the cake, but I bet it tasted really good!

We also had something called chips -- Aunty Doralin said that your Mom loves these, Erica! She took a picture of me with your mom and dad's favorite kinds of chips! Do you like chips? What do they taste like? Do they taste as yummy as my dog food?

Okay, Erica, now I've got to tell you about something BIG that happened on the weekend too. I went outside to do my "business" (hey, I've been a good dog and haven't left any jewels in the house lately!) and there was this really strange white stuff falling from the sky and lying on the ground. I was sniffing it and it felt really cold on my nose. I was trying to eat it, but it just disappeared. It was really wierd, Erica. I wish you had been there to see it. I don't think we've ever had that stuff in Bolivia before. Have you ever seen that kind of white stuff Erica?

Here's me as a princess!

Look at me -- I'm swinging!!! Weeeeee!

And here I am getting a ride with Alexi in a bike trailer. I'm even buckled in so I'm safe.

Hey Erica, look at my new dog tag! Aunty Doralin got it for me so that if I get lost, the nice people in Altona know where to bring me again. I think I'll just stay close to the Ginters though, and not get lost.

I still like to have naps on shoes!

I love you Erica!
Write to me soon and tell me what you are doing!

I can't believe it!!!

Wow Erica! You'll never guess what I got to do yesterday! I was playing outside in the Ginter's front yard yesterday while Uncle Leroy was making some really loud noise with this machine that cuts wood (I didn't mind it though, cuz I'm used to loud partying noises and fireworks in Bolivia). Anyway, I couldn't believe my eyes when this big white truck thingy with orange and blue stripes drives right into the driveway. It was HUGE, Erica! And it had lights all over it, but they weren't switched on. It had orange lights and white lights and red lights.

And guess what happened next, Erica... a BIG man got out of that truck thingy and he was wearing a very nice uniform. He looked kinda like a policeman, so I stood very straight and tall. He seemed very kind so I didn't even bark at him, cuz I could tell right away that he was a good man. He told me that his name was Uncle Abe, and that you know him. Cool! I'm getting to meet all our relatives that I've never met before, and they are all GREAT!

Now if you think all THAT'S exciting, Erica, wait till I tell you what happened next! If ever there were a time where I coulda chased my tail in delight, it was then. Uncle Abe let me drive the big white truck thingy! Can you believe it? I still can hardly believe it! He put me on the seat and let me hold the steering wheel. Okay, so I didn't actually drive it, but it sure felt like it! I pretended I was speeding through traffic in Santa Cruz to pick you up and take you to Altona with me! Boy can that truck thingy drive fast! Woo Hoo! I was screeching around corners and turning on all the lights, and ... did you know that truck thingy has a button for turning on loud sounds? I didn't actually press it, but I think I got a glimpse of it -- I'm not very good at reading, so I couldn't tell for sure.

Wow, Erica! That TOTALLY made my day!!! I dreamed about it all night long! I still shake my head and wonder if it actually happend! But the pictures I'm posting prove that it's true. I can't wait for you to come to Canada so we can see all kinds of cool things TOGETHER! In the meantime, I'll just keep posting stuff on my blog for you to see. I love you Erica!

My Zipline

Hey Erica, guess what? Even though I can't just run around outside where-ever I want to like I could in Bolivia (cuz they don't have walls around the yard), Uncle Leroy made a zip-line for me the other day. Now I can run around lots and lots but I don't have to be scared of getting lost. Phew!

How are you doing Erica? Can you believe it... it's less than 3 months until you come here and we can be together again? I've been here a whole week already!

Hey, guess what else? The Ginters give me these really cool bacon dog treats when I do my business outside in my "bathroom area". I'm trying really hard to save it for there. Those treats are awesome! Maybe they'll give you one if you use my bathroom area when you come to Altona!

I got a gift! I got a gift!

Tonight the nice man who came to see us in Bolivia, and took me on my great jet adventure, dropped off a bag of stuff for me! I couldn't believe my nose!!! My owner, Erica, had sent me her t-shirt, and her sister Alia had sent her shorts! Boy oh boy did I love the familiar smell of my real family! I sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed. Mmmm...mmm...mm! I just couldn't get enough. I sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed, and sniffed some more. Look at me sniff.

After I'd sniffed for a while, Erica's aunty put the clothes on the blanket in my favorite place to sleep, and I lay down and dreamed of Erica and the rest of my real family in Bolivia! Boy do I miss them!

Miss Muffet in Canada

Hi! My name is Miss Muffet! I'm Bolivian and have a wonderful owner named Erica. This week I had an adventure like never before! Boy oh boy... I got to fly in a huge jet, and see lots of new people, and fly some more, and see more people, and fly some more, and then I was brought to a home in Altona where the people seemed quite excited to see me. I'm not sure why, cuz they don't even know me. My owner, Erica, told me that she would be coming to Canada in a few months, and that I would need to stay with her cousins in the meantime. Here is a picture of me with my new cousins.

I started my time out in Altona just sniffing my cousins house out. Hmmm... not too bad, but it sure isn't the same without Erica around. The Ginters (those are my cousins and their parents) are treating me really well -- they feed me, take me on walks, play with me, love me and even take me outside to do my business. Hey, a dog's gotta do what a dog's gotta do!
Here's me with Erica's grammy. I guess she's my grammy too then. Anyway, I loved her right from the start. Erica, when I closed my eyes and gave grammy a kiss, I could almost imagine that it was you! I can't wait to give you a big wet slobbery kiss when you come here! Grammy calls me her Granddogger -- what does that mean?
